Blue Rose Sincerity

I am posting this MOST sincere sympathy card in honor of our DEAD hot water heater.

I thought the blue rose with the DRIP to be MOST appropriate.

If one cannot weep, one MUST laugh.  (grin)

So very clever, Beth ... with a touch a "dry" humor! ~ I am so sorry for your loss... don't you just loathe it when these things happen? Because they just do, and you can only go with the flow ... no punt intended there ... Cheer up! Things will be running and heating up again soon enough!
Wishing you a happy day! ... Perhaps tonight you will win the Giveaway! Fingers and toes crossed for you! :))

At least it's summer time, or no doubt you would be blue with cold like the rose. I hope it's not too appropriate and that it's fixed very soon.

Such a beautiful card to mourn the loss of an appliance. Hoping the old one goes off to wherever old appliances go and you have a new, energy efficient one hooked up soon! It probably served you well and long! May it RIP. :-) Carol

That's cute! I almost had a dead a/c unit last weekend, but it got fixed before I melted.

Oh I do sympathise. I thought ours was a gonner last night but I managed to restart its pulse once again - but for how long? I might just print off that card of yours.

Beautiful card. Abe thinks we should have our tank replaced, but the plumber that checked it said it's still got a lot of good years left. He suggested we get a gizmo that we set on the floor of the hot water tank closet and if it springs a leak, it's suppose to set off an alarm like a smoke detector.

Beth - you amaze me, what a wonderful, clever way to react to a serious problem. I do not know where you live but here in Fort Lauderdale in the summer the cold water (ha) is warm enough to shower. Marge
