I don't know why--but this postcard is disturbing--I can't put my finger on exactly what bothers me about it. I've never seen one like it before. Maybe it is that the heart-shaped pots over the flames don't look like they especially like the idea of Cupid's having that heart for lunch. (grin)
However, I do very much like how the bow and arrow and tree frame the postcard.

I agree, this is a rather disturbing looking card.
I too agree, with that cutie cupid the scenario is just not so nice.
Makes me think about Hannibal Lecter and his comment about fava beans.
