A Greeting From St. Valentine -Postcard Friendship Friday #393

This graceful vintage postcard with its exquisite roses pleases my eyes.  The style of clothing from the past is charming--but I can't imagine wearing such things these days--it would be SO hard to function in such long skirts.  However, I do love the way the ladies looked then.

I hope you are having a lovely day.  Have a great weekend and Happy Postcard Friendship Friday!

LINKING UP:  You can put your link in any time between now and next Thursday.  Postcard Friendship Friday is open for the entire week!

What a lovely postcard, and yes you are right, while the clothing looks lovely, it would be hard to hope on a bus/train. Can't imagine the limitations these ladies dealt with wearing this outfit. But, it is romantic. Keep well. We are so cold here I've dug up my longjohns.

I too agree, I often wonder how women of the past got anything done with all the fluff they had to deal with in their day to day clothing. The long skirts and more. Thankfully I am living today when clothing is more practical. Don't get me wrong I love all the history, images of the past!!!
