Dressing Up -Postcard Friendship Friday #258

This wonderful old postcard reminds me so much of my sister Clytie and I when we were young. We did indeed dress the puppies in doll clothes, though I don't know if we ever actually were successful in any attempt to dress up a kitty cat!!

The little ones in our lives bring so much charm and joy.  I am so grateful for the joy of the children.

Happy Pups

I received this card from a friend sometime in the 1970's.  You can tell the time period by the coloring of the photo.  I love the way these cute puppie's eyes sparkle.  The way they lean into one another, they seem the best of friends.  I bet these two got into a LOT of mischief!

When I was a child I wanted a collie just like Lassie.  Collies are such beautiful dogs.  I'm glad I kept this card in my box of keepsakes.
