A Sunny Greeting -Postcard Friendship Friday #498

So much is happening, I thought a cheery greeting was in order.  The small daffodils in my garden are bright and happy and have been blooming since mid-January.  The larger ones are beginning to bloom, just in time to bring joy to a world that seems turned upside down.

We are not allowed to travel unless it is an emergency.  Thankfully, I have my darling Mumsie here, so I'm not completely alone.  She's such a wonderful lady to have around.

Daffodils and an Easter Angel

I love Easter.  The artists of old created such beautiful art pieces celebrating Easter.  This one is a favorite of mine.

April Birthday Greetings -Postcard Friendship Friday #402

Hello, sweet Friends.  I thought this was the sweetest old postcard--just perfect for today.  As a small girl, I would have dearly loved to have worm this daffodil dress with matching umbrella.  It must be a warm rain because this little flower girl isn't wearing a sweater.

It is chilly and is raining hard today--a typical Springtime morning here in Oregon.  Tomorrow we are expecting a windstorm.  I am such a kid, I love storms, as long as people and property are not harmed.  It is especially fun when the electricity goes out.  I have a wood stove and candles for warmth and light. One can always hope.  (smile)

Easter Lambs in Daffodil Meadow

I have always loved this card.  It is from my Sister's collection.  There is something so sweet and ethereal about this pastoral scene.  I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter week.

I love daffodils and Spring.  This postcard is a delight to my eyes.  What a creative idea to string ribbons and daffodils across the card.  There's something so rumpled, yet so graceful about this artist's work.
