Hello, dear Friends. I have been out of town and apologize for getting this posted a bit later than usual. I hope your week has been wonderful. I was visiting family in Oregon's great Columbia Gorge. It was hot, but in the evening the wind would kick up and swoosh through the trees--and the crickets joined in for a lovely hootenanny. I love that part of Oregon--so different than here in the Valley.Isn't this little girl a darling? I love her dress, and I adore her expression, which plainly says, "You have GOT to be kidding. Do I REALLY have to wear this?"
One gets the feeling she'd rather be wearing her overalls, down fishing at the waterhole with the boys.
