Hello, dear Friends. I have been out of town and apologize for getting this posted a bit later than usual. I hope your week has been wonderful. I was visiting family in Oregon's great Columbia Gorge. It was hot, but in the evening the wind would kick up and swoosh through the trees--and the crickets joined in for a lovely hootenanny. I love that part of Oregon--so different than here in the Valley.Isn't this little girl a darling? I love her dress, and I adore her expression, which plainly says, "You have GOT to be kidding. Do I REALLY have to wear this?"
One gets the feeling she'd rather be wearing her overalls, down fishing at the waterhole with the boys.

What a sweetie! The colours and the costume remind me of the early short films by Pathé. So can see them in my next post of the 17th. I'll wait for the next PFF to join in.
