A Peaceful Easter -Postcard Friendship Friday #452

Easter postcards are among the most lovely--this one is especially beautiful.  Here is the enchanting little angel, ringing in Easter upon a silver bell, with a pile of colorful Easter eggs at her side.

I wonder what animals are listening in that idyllic forest with its mysterious beauty.  The look on the angel's face is one of expectant joy.  Happy Easter all you wonderful people!

And happy Postcard Friendship Friday!

Goodbye Dear Friend

Yesterday afternoon, our friend Leon Hyatt was in a serious bicycle accident and was not expected to make it through the night.  Early this morning, Leon left this earth for an eternity in heaven.

Over the years, Leon, his sweet wife Denise and younger children have been a great encouragement to us, taking part in our drama performances.  This was so unexpected.  We are all heartbroken.  May God comfort this precious family as they are facing life without Leon.

In the Forest

I love this card. It is another beauty from my darling Gramma Gladys. This scene reminds me so much of the forests of my childhood. All that beauty and mystery--I find myself wondering wondering what is behind those trees, what's down that creek, there must be a hill or two to climb just beyond my vision . . .
