This is definitely a card which might be sent by a little boy to someone he greatly admires! The card was printed in Canada sometime in the late 1940's. I thinke he's cute...he kind of looks like Grumpy in Walt Disney's Snow White!I love his sword, those shiny shoes--however, his girth, humongous nose and eye patch, could conceivably put a dampener on this funny pirate's invitation.
