The Woman and the Chicken - Pink Saturday

This postcard is another from my "cyber" collection.  I think it is probably meant for Easter, but with those lovely frills and pink flower accents I thought it perfect for Pink Saturday.

That Rooster has a wonderfully aggressive stance.  From the look on the girl's face, I would say she's hoping that bird won't peck her!

You can find more perfectly wonderful pink stuff at Bev's Pink Saturday.

Beth,
this is so cool. I have a fondness for anything that is chicken influenced , probably something I got from my Mom. Great to see you doing the Pink Saturday thing, I need to get involved with that too.
I admire you sweet friend.
HAPPY PINK SATURDAY TO YOU .

Lovely card, and wow the size of those eggs, maybe the rooster is just proud.

What a wonderful postcard! And I'm wondering if that is an emu egg instead of a chicken egg??? ;-)

Happy Pink Saturday...

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY BETH,
I LOVE CHICKENS AND ROOSTERS AND THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL LOOKS AS IF THAT ROOSTER MISBEHAVES THAT EGG IN HER HAND IS GOING TO BE SMASHED ON HIS HEAD.
I PRAY YOUR FAMILY IS DOING WELL.

Wow. I love chickens as you know, but I pity the poor bird who laid those eggs! Lol

Hello Beth! Thank you for stopping by my blog today and for leaving such a sweet comment! Isn't the hummingbird moth an enchanting creature? I too thought the first time I had encountered one, that it was a baby hummingbird. Imagine my delight to discover it was a moth!

You mentioned that you performed ... I am most curious, do tell, do you sing? Please enlighten me as to what form of entertaining you do!

I LOVE this image! The colors are so glorious!!! If only all roosters could behave as well as this one! And isn't the woman a beauty? I should have been born in another era .. I love the way women dressed in those days. Though I don't suppose I would care much for all of the unmentionables they wore!

Wishing you a beautiful day! :)
