National Love Your Pet Day -Postcard Friendship Friday #108

I fell in love with this postcard long ago.  It is a part of my real-life collection.  The darling baby with those bouncing blond curls, reminds me of my own dear ones when they were small.  I adore the bunny, too--he seems to be enjoying the baby's great big, squashy hug.

Yesterday was National Love your Pet Day.  I thought this cutie would be perfect for both the holiday and for Postcard Friendship Friday!

A Heart Happy Easter - Guest Heart Thursday

Do you see the leaf hearts on the vine decorating the little Egg house?  I love these old pictures of eggs.  This one is interesting.  I'm not sure why there is a brick wall behind that window--and the sheep looks like it has its head stuck in the ladder!  It is such a great postcard.

The Woman and the Chicken - Pink Saturday

This postcard is another from my "cyber" collection.  I think it is probably meant for Easter, but with those lovely frills and pink flower accents I thought it perfect for Pink Saturday.

That Rooster has a wonderfully aggressive stance.  From the look on the girl's face, I would say she's hoping that bird won't peck her!
