Angelic Face -Postcard Friendship Friday

This young lady was featured in so many Tuck postcards which were published in the late 1800-s, early 1900's. Her face is positively angelic. When I see her face, I suddenly long for my pencils and art paper!

This wonderful postcard is a part of my cyber collection.

Happy Postcard Friendship Friday!

How many Tuck cards do you have? They're all spectacular images.

Beth!!! I love all of your beautiful vintage cards and this blog is just wonderful! As a child I, too, poured over artwork and cut out many "pictures" I found in old magazines and pasted them into scrapbooks! Thanks for the postings and the memories! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Coralie

I love the look on her face - like she is glancing at someone she truly cares for.

Dear Precious Beth,
THANK YOU soooooo very much for visiting my blog after my daughter journeyed home to heaven to our Saviour Jesus. Thank You for sharing about your brother and Amy was very young at heart and full of whimsey and fun...she would love dancing with him in the clouds.
Reading your profile we have so very, very much in common. I LOVE OLD POST CARDS, ANTIQUES, WRITING, ART, DRAMA....My son has always been in drama and in the brief times he is not working or catering to his bride of 2 years...he writes and his dream is to produce one day. He is a very responsible young man but I don't want him to lose the gifts God placed within him....Amy was a beautifully gifted artist but she was too stressed and broken hearted by men most of the time to use her art.....to let people see what beauty was within her. It made/makes me very sad.
It has been a pleasure to meet you and I hope we can become friends.
Angel Hugs
Debbie

Isn't "our" girl a true beauty?
I tried to email you several times a few weeks ago, but it kept coming back saying that the address was "un-deliverable"... I have another photo of our French angel that I was trying to send...
Thanks for the visit and sweet words... Please come back when time allows and have a peek at the post for Nov. 1 ... family photos!
Thinking of you...
