There are so many holidays listed for August 3rd, I can hardly choose which to honor! It is Waffle Day in some towns, while others around our country celebrate National Park Day. In the American mid-west, it is Watermelon Day and let's not forget this is the day the entire world celebrates International Forgiveness Day. Then there are the Olympics with all the nations' fierce competition and joyous contesting of muscle and sinew.
But I have to admit, of all the holidays celebrated today, the one I like most is Domestic Goddess Day, which celebrates women and all they do for their families. We are all special in our own way--this day celebrates the beauty and power found within every woman. Whichever holiday, or activities you celebrate--have a perfectly glorious day!

So how shall we celebrate it? Love the card, and I'll have to go out and buy myself something nice. Thanks Beth.
I'm just along for the ride today, since I'm busy working and not much for time to return the visits.
I look forward to your PFF posts!
What a wonderful reason for a holiday! And a great card too.

Love the beautiful card and lets celebrate ourselves (we domestic godesses) and get out the champagne! Thanks for hosting!
I was interested to learn that today is National Watermelon Day.
In honor of Watermelon Day, I posted a postcard of a watermelon statue on my new blog Postcard Gems at http://postcardgems.blogspot.com
This blog is for "Classic American Postcards of the 1950s to 1970s."
I didn't know there's a Domestic Goddess holiday. I should have sent something nice for my mother.
Thanks Beth, I learned something new from this post.
