Springtime Pussy Willows
I've always loved pussy willows. When I was a little girl, I pretended they were tiny kittens. Their little beds were made of walnut shell halves. I would put them to bed between flower petals. I made tiny houses of twigs for them. In my child's eyes, they would purr and snuggle in my fingers. Sometimes they still do.

I've always love pussy willows too. I've planted many a tree from the ones we rooted in our vases. They grow so quickly. I've always wanted to lead an pussy willow planting expedition to some very watery area, maybe some place like where Katrina hit and it so wet. Wanna come?
Ah, what a sweet story.
