Springtime Shamrock - Postcard Friendship Friday #106

I love the green of Shamrocks which seem to herald the arrival of Spring and sunshine!  This is a reproduction of a vintage postcard.  I bought a pack of the ones I loved best, back in the early 1980's.  I lived with my precious Grammie at that time.  She loved cards as much as I, so I would often surprise her with them.  Going through her things, Sissy found this postcard I'd given to her around that time.

Grammie is gone now, so this is a lovely reminder of our great friendship.

*  NOTE: You don't have to stick to the theme I choose each Friday. Just put up the postcards you love and tell us why you like them.

Shamrock always reminds me of my grandmother and my childhood in Ireland.

I love St. Patrick's Day and often wonder if it's because I love the color green!!! Lovely card. Thanks for hosting and Happy PFF!

The girl looks coquettish. What a lovely postcard. In the Philippines, shamrock is associated with the most popular biscuit (as the logo) produced in the city where I used to live.

Shame on me :P I still had to consult Mr. Wiki what a 'shamrock' is. Ahh...it's a clover leaf!

Thanks for an additional knowledge, Beth!

Lovely postcard. I have never seen a St. Patrick's Day postcard so could not follow theme this week, but hope you'll enjoy what I've shared nevertheless. Happy PFF.

I love your collection of cards from your Grammie, how do you keep them?
