The Girl He Left Behind -Postcard Friendship Friday #323

What a commentary on the bravery of those women left behind to work and support their men as they went to war. World War 2 changed so many things. Women went to work in factories, riveting together planes and machines of war, and at the same time they changed diapers, and raised their children.

Indeed she IS a WOW! I admire those women. They changed our entire world.  These are the women who paved the way for the rest of us.  Thank you.

Good to see you back, Beth! Take care.

I do agree with you, these women who went to do "men's jobs" during the war - while taking care at home - were heroes.

Just like my colleagues today, who are working hard combining work at the office and at home wth their kids and their old parents, both the women and the men! If you read this: I salute you all.

And a bear hug for you, Beth, from Amsterdam.
