Wiggle Your Toes Day - Postcard Friendship Friday #23

I am a barefoot person. I was delighted to discover that today, August 6th, is Wiggle Your Toes Day!

Not all toes are alike, of course! Toes come in all shapes and sizes. There is even a small percentage of the population who have two or more toes partially joined together....web like toes!  People like one of my favorite cousins.  I was quite envious of her lovely webbed toes.

So, to celebrate, release your tooties from those shoes and wiggle them in the air for all to see.  Wiggling your toes in a pond, pool or in the river is a great way to celebrate.

No one really knows how Wiggle  Your Toes Day originated.  And there is some disagreement on the actual day it should be celebrated.  The vast majority of websites record this event on August 6th. There are, however, some who suggest August 7th or the first Sunday in August.

Happy PFF and Happy Wiggle Your Toes Day!

You gotta play with something handy...or footy.
I thought you're not gonna post PFF today - you must have been busy...wiggling, or something.
Cute card!:)

Reminded me of the song that had a verse of 'ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes'. I'm wiggling my toes, who could not.

Oh I'm so glad to hear this, I've been wiggling my toes all day. I bought this gel gadget thingy to stretch my toes apart, it is suppose to relieve stressed feet. It is working. Thanks for hosting again.

"with love from your Papa." Love the sweet formality of the phrase. Happy PFF.
