Violets and Cherubs

My darling Sissy Clytie gave this card to me last year. I treasure it for its beauty and whimsy. It isn't my birthday--I'm posting this in honor of the brave little violets blooming in my garden.

I'm sure Winter isn't done and we're due for an icy blast or two--I admit it--I admire their pluck!

Violets are some of my most favorite flowers! I'm so jealous that you have them in your garden.

I did fall in love with the little cherubs on the card, though. Aren't they cute?

The violets are pretty, but I really like the little cherubs, especially the one on the bottom with the fat little legs!

Beautiful little card. Birthday or not. Violets are one of my favorite flowers. They come up wild in our backyard. Have a great evening.

What a precious card from your sis! Lovely violets and cupids are just perfect for the Valentine season...and spring on its way. It will be some time before we have violet weather here in Michigan! I will dream of your garden! Hugs, Coralie
