Uncle Sam is a Blast! -Postcard Friendship Friday #462
This postcard is so colorful and perfect for American's Fourth of July celebration. However, I still can't help shuddering a little when I see how close the firecracker is to that boy's face as he lights it! Vintage postcards sometimes have the most unlikely images.
In the meantime, next Thursday, here in the USA, we celebrate the Fourth of July. I'm looking forward to friends and family arriving and the fun and fellowship we will share.
I am grateful for the freedom we have in America. God bless America! Happy celebrations, and Happy Postcard Friendship Friday!

Will You go off with me on the Fourth?
It is hard to believe the Fourth of July, American's celebration of its Independence, is just one week away. I will have a bunch of friends and family here for the entire extended weekend starting Wednesday night. It is going to be so much fun.
I just love these vintage celebratory Fourth of July pieces. The caption for this one is especially clever.
Have a marvelous day!
