As a child, I loved Charles Schultz' cartoon Peanuts. Of course, this postcard is not exactly the Great Pumpkin who broke the heart of poor Linus every year. When I was a small child I loved Linus. His love for the great Pumpkin made me smile. That little boy had an unusual amount of hope and perseverance--and I admired him for it.
It was Linus who sadly said, "There are three things I have learned never to discuss with people: religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin."
To tell you the truth, the child inside still waits for the Great Pumpkin to appear. (grin) Perhaps this year he will!
Have a great weekend!

I sure would welcome the Great Pumpkin. Great card Beth.
Poor me... I know nothing about the Great Pumpkin. Gotta ask the net for some education... Happy PFF Beth! I missed participating in your blog hop.

I have only one card showing a pumpkin and I'm saving that for the great day itself! :) I love your one with the two bottom pumpkins focussing the beams on the poor cat.
I'm hoping to find a pumpkin for next week. ;)
I waited for the Halloween witch who would come after my kids went to sleep and she'd take away their extra treats and leave some money instead.
i'm glad you posted a Halloween card as I had forgotten that I had a bunch of them. I sat down sunday evening and wrote out 7 and put them I in the mail that night. They should mostly be delivered before the big day this week.
