What a beautiful day it is today--though the clouds are gathering and there will be showers coming in by this evening. There is also the possibility of thunderstorms. Here in Oregon, we rarely have dangerous thunderstorms, so when they come rumbling through, I enjoy them.
This Spring has been amazing. Plants--roses, fruit trees, vegetables, flowers--are lush and bursting forth in more than normal strength and beauty. It is the prettiest Spring I've seen in a long time.
And now it is finally summer. In my garden there is a wealth of beautiful roses, their branches are so heavy they dip to the ground. Some of my roses are bigger than my hand. I've never seen them that large before!
Ah, the aroma of roses and honeysuckle fill the air...the sun is shining, and it is a beautiful day.
