I love these roses. One can almost catch the scent of them in the air. This artist has captured the beauty of roses--one of my favorite flowers.
Though this postcard wishes the receiver good luck, the truth is, I don't believe in luck--I believe in God. He has seen me through good and bad times.
He is the One who gave my Mother to me. I didn't always appreciate her kindness and sweet loving heart. I didn't understand the frustrations she had or the hard life she faced. When I was a teenager, she knew me better than I knew myself. But I didn't know that.
Now Mums is one of my very best friends. I wish I could have known that a lot sooner! Sunday is Mumsie's birthday. She is beloved to my heart. I am SO blessed to have this wonderful woman as my own dear Mom.

These are sweet words about your mum. I feel the same way you do, about luck, and about God.
What a beautiful post, and a lovely card.
Belated Happy Birthday to your Mother. Hope she has many more. Lovely tribute to her.
I can only echo what is written above. What a beautiful post. I lost my mam (North East England dialect - Mam or mother... if you go farther south it changes to Mum)just over 10 years ago, I was 34 at the time and I thank God every day for letting my mam meet and love my children. They have their own wonderful memories and photographs of her and I can always fill in the blanks for them. Thank you for this opportunity to gaze at the memories in my mind and I send belated birthday greetings to your Mam.
