This is a card I received from my Best Friend in High School. His name was Eric and I loved him. Our paths grew apart and I have not seen him for many years. He was one of those special people who inspired me to greater things--thank you, Buddy.
This card somehow catches the essence of the 1970's for me. This is the way it was back then.

Great card, with a lovely story.
Oh, how sweet, Beth. Always so nice to pocket away a fond memory of a long ago but dear friendship. He surely felt the same for you, gifting such a poetic image of a young couple! :)))
So you had a "crunch" on each other...Great postcard - one could write a whole essay/poem, etc. about it. Then again, the picture already encapsulates it all.
:)
Oh yeah, that's the 70's alright! I remember Eric ... and his hairdo!
I thought for sure Dorincard was going to say So you had a "crunch" on each other... because the best hearts are crunchy.
P.S. great card. I enjoyed the 70's as well, had long hair like that and all.
Carefree and fun! That was the mood of the 1960's and 1970's as depicted in this postcard.
I thought of letting you know that I have my Friday Postcard in this blog"
Postcard from Canberra.
