Yikes, what a neck ache I would have if I tried to hold that pose for very long! Love these vintage cards.
wonderful! have tried to read the signature but can't quite make it out...any clues to the photographer? or WHO she is?!!
Wonderful card! I love the look on her face and her *body language*!
She looks like she is having so much fun. Love the title - she really does love that fan doesn't she? And why not, I love it too!
That 5yr old knew her stuff ('Crunchy Hearts' - above) though I do prefer the ones with goo inside. Great title :D
My Mom recently turned me on to Sophie Tucker! I've been watching everything I can on youtube. This card reminds me of her spunk!
Wonderful! That can't have been at all easy.
Luv it, Luv it, Luv it... And all of your blogs.. Awesome!
I bet she ended up with a crick in her neck after posing for that one! I like her smile too. Usually back then they didn't smile so much for pictures.
Plus the poor woman was probably strapped tightly into a full body corset/girdle like they use to wear back then.
