I have a special spot in my heart for Kewpie dolls. My darling Sissy Clytie has been going through some boxes of cards saved by our sweet little Grammie. Sissy happened to come upon some postcards she thought I would like.
I lived with my Grandmother for several years before I met my husband. Grammie and I were best friends--this card is one of those I'd given her. Our grandmother loved little dolls, especially Kewpies.
In light of the weather here in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, I am celebrating the idea of sunshine, spring and warmer weather. It has been grey for WAY too long!
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
* NOTE: You don't have to stick to the theme I choose each Friday. Just put up the postcards you love and tell us why you like them.

Awww - that is such a sweet postcard for your grammie, Beth. I,too, was close to my grandma. I loved hanging out with her after (grade) school at her small shop, running errands with her, and most of all, I was always beside her in those times she'd break her piggy bank open! Lol. I miss her a lot.
Enjoy your weekend.

HI Beth,
Great card. I am hosting a giveaway this week. A very nice card for Black History Month.
Love the kewpies! How nice to have a card you sent to your Grammie. Very special! Happy PFF!
My mom took the kewpies I had as a kid and tied them in the palms to stop the weaver birds stripping them. Hahaha.
I couldn't agree more about celebrating the sunshine. Here we are in enjoying thick fog. :)
wonderful - leap frog indeed!
Do you remember Henry dolls?
I am okay with winter. In fact I wish we had more of one...but I am starting to fantasize about summer produce!
Leaping frogs! Was afraid of them when I was little...I guess until now :P
Sweet! I like it as a collection too.
