My garden is in full bloom right now--finally my roses are happy in the sunshine, which has been uncommon in Oregon this summer. There is something so lovely, so rare about the blooming of roses.
I love this vintage artist's rendition of roses. This painting is an inspiration to me.
Have a lovely day!

That is a nice take on roses. I wouldn't even try to grow roses in my climate, it's so dry and variable, and bitterly cold at times in the winter.
I love your vintage cards! I know I've said it before, but I really do love them. I guess I need to go to a flea market and see if I can pick up any. :D
I've tried growing roses a couple of times; winter killed them. boo, hiss!
Nice scan...
I am still on vacation until September but visit a few blogs each day from among those who are visiting mine.
Oh Beth, this is a lovely rose. Sounds like our gardens are much the same .. my roses have finally begun to really take off too! :) Oh, I sooooooooooooooo love roses! I love this image, it would make for a lovely background for one of my poems or verses!
Wishing you a fantastic rest of the week! Enjoy the heady scents from your blossoms while you can!
Very pretty! Thank you.
