There is something so precious about baby chick--never mind that they will quickly become chickens. But even adult chickens can be cute and rather interesting. There is new life all around. Spring has truly sprung with its flowers, babies and a sense of great hope.

I love the baby chicks. Reminds me oif when I was a kid and the chicks were brought by the mail man or sometimes my brother would pick them up. They were so soft and felt like they would squish.
