Dressing Up -Postcard Friendship Friday #258
This wonderful old postcard reminds me so much of my sister Clytie and I when we were young. We did indeed dress the puppies in doll clothes, though I don't know if we ever actually were successful in any attempt to dress up a kitty cat!!
The little ones in our lives bring so much charm and joy. I am so grateful for the joy of the children.
Have a lovely weekend, dear Friends--and Happy Postcard Friendship Friday.

Hello Beth Niquette
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I hope that you are well.
That picture reminds me of when my sister and I dressed up my black cat Frimousse. I was aged 10 and dressed her up in my dolls clothes. Poor thing, she did look every so cute in the outfit though!
Warm wishes

What a cute card! I don't remember dressing kitties when I was little, but my kids sure did! They would put the small kittens in Barbie clothes! Funny thing ... they grew up to be some of the most well-adjusted cats I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I love the bonnet.
ReplyDeleteAll my fave colors and love to be back and see your smile! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute...love ya.
ReplyDeleteHi sweet Beth! Just stopping in to check if everything is OK:) Thinking of you dear friend!
ReplyDeleteMy sister used to dress up her cats - I must find an antique picture of that somewhere. Said sister is now in her mid-80's and has switched to dogs - but she doesn't dress them up.
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't make it last week, Beth. I know you must be having a hard time - I still remember what it was like.
ReplyDeleteSending warm thoughts to yout.
