It is hard to realize that October is nearly over. Halloween is only a week away--children will dress up in all kinds of interesting costumes to trick or treat around the neighborhood. It is especially fun to watch the small children--running from house to house for treats, followed by their protective parents. The glee on their faces is something to see.
On another note, our chimney is about halfway up the side of the house. It will be so wonderful to have heat again. We are expecting another rainy windstorm tomorrow. I do love a storm--but not as much when it is cold in the house. Ah, but in a few weeks, all this will be in the past and we will be toasty warm beside the wood stove.
A Merry Halloween to you and have a lovely weekend, dear friends. Happy Postcard Friendship Friday!
* LINKING UP: You can put your link in any time between now and next Thursday. Postcard Friendship Friday is open for the entire week!
* BADGE: When you submit a postcard, be sure to put a link back to this page. You can copy and paste the PFF badge, which has the link embedded. Thank you!
* THEMES: You don't have to stick to the theme I choose each Friday. Just put up the pieces you love and tell us why you like them.
What a sweet little card, a merry Halloween to you as well.
ReplyDeleteIt is a gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteI agree it's hard to believe winter is approaching so fast. Our clocks change back this coming weekend.
I'm still trying to figure out what happened to September, arg and now October follows. I shall look forward to halloween evening and visiting with all the little ghosts and gobliins or whatever they are dressing as this year.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be very glad of that new chimney in a few weeks.
