This is the second postcard of a lovely Indian maiden with her contribution to the Thanksgiving feast. What a beautiful young woman--and so accomplished! I am a smidge Native American, so I find these wonderful postcards honoring Native Americans to be especially delightful.
I wanted our friends from Russia to know you have been missed. I didn't see you dear ones for some time and felt worried. I'm glad to see you are back.
Have a lovely weekend and Happy Postcard Friendship Friday!

Hi Beth,
ReplyDeleteIn Holland we don't know thanksgiving, although we love a good party:)
And though we have no Indians in Europe neither, we have a burning fascination for them. Many authors wrote books about them while they never set a foot in America, like the famous German writer Karl May (Winnetou!). European filmmakers made many westerns, like the Spaghetti Westerns in Italy but also the Indian films in Communist Eastern Germany. Even my small and low country made a Western.
That was not a good film, so especially for PFF I did a post on a classic Dutch film.
Happy PFF!
Paul
It has always been my great wish to "join in" with Thanksgiving so I was delighted recently to be able to taste pumpkin pie. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteI thought at first you had written you were a 'smudge' native!!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteYour Indian Thanksgiving postcards are making me more curios about Indian history and heritage in the US.
I watched this movie, The Last of The Mohicans and also I learned a few with this contemporary trilogy Twilight.
There's something mysterious with the Indian features.
I wish you happy weekend! Thank for continuously praying for us here in the Philippines!
Hugs,
Maria
What a great card.
