News reports reveal we will experience a close call from a meteorite today. The meteorite will pass by around 11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Though scientists insist it won't touch us, the idea of its close proximity is still unnerving. Especially as we also view additional frightening images of a huge fireball streaking across the skies of Russia to explode above the ground.
With all that is happening today, I thought this postcard to be perfect for Postcard Friendship Friday. Here you see the goddess Athena, riding a shooting star through space.
Have a great day, everyone. Stay safe and watch out for stray shooting stars!
* DON'T FORGET: When you submit a postcard, be sure to put a link back to this page. You can copy and paste the PFF badge, which has the link embedded. Thank you!
* NOTE: You don't have to stick to the theme I choose each Friday. Just put up the postcards you love and tell us why you like them.
* REMINDER: Comments and links which contain advertising and do not refer to any of the following; Postcard Friendship Friday, mailboxes, the Post office, postcards or the love of postcards, will be deleted. Lately, I've had to delete quite a few comments which are just ads.
Yes, I heard about the Russian meteor. I do like the image on the card but I hope that won't be you riding high and that it passes without incident! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing card and perfect for the meteors this week!
ReplyDeleteYou found the perfect card to represent all the falling things from space - this one seems a bit friendlier than the meteors and asteroids.
