I adore the hearts in a basket, along with the lovely maiden and those wonderful blue forgetmenot flowers. When I was a girl, we would find them growing wild next to where the creek swirled and bubbled. This lovely postcard seemed perfect for Guest Heart Thursday.

I wonder if the hearts are like flowers she picked up from a flower field... ;)
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be wonderful if we could fill our baskets with love hearts. I made my son a little jar of felt hearts with this tacky little poem. "Here's a jar that's rather unique, a loving heart for everyday of the week, When ever you're lonely or feeling blue, just look at the jar and know I love you". He was pretty young and was really into Valentines Day.
ReplyDeletejust lovely!
