Chicken Dance Day -Postcard Friendship Friday #134

I know it is the 21st--a day after this celebration--but I just couldn't resist the fun.  September 20^th is Chicken Dance Day in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This is a newer holiday which began in 1994, when the Crown Prince of Bavaria visited Cincinnati and participated in their Oktoberfest Zinzanniti celebration.  At that time celebrations included the world's largest chicken dance. With 40,000 people joining in the activity, the event was actually recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.  Can you imagine a crowd that size all doing the chicken dance?  Wow!  The dust cloud must have been incredible--or at least they shook the earth a bit.
