Flip a Coin Day - Postcard Friendship Friday #118

June is one of my favorite months--not too hot, not too cold and the flowers are blooming everywhere.  Did you know June 1st is Flip a Coin Day?  The tradition of flipping a coin to make decisions dates back to Julius Caesar. Caesar would take a coin and flip it when the right choice was unclear. The correct answer was "heads" which of course, bore his noble visage.

I know this postcard doesn't actually celebrate Flip a Coin Day, rather it is Christmas--but the drawing on the postcard seemed just perfect for the holiday.

So, in celebration, let's all flip a coin!

Have a lovely day, everyone.

*  DON'T FORGET:  When you submit a postcard, be sure to put a link back to this page.  You can copy and paste the PFF badge, which has the link embedded.  Thank you!

*  NOTE: You don't have to stick to the theme I choose each Friday. Just put up the postcards you love and tell us why you like them.

*  REMINDER: Comments and links which contain advertising and do not refer to any of the following; Postcard Friendship Friday, mailboxes, the Post office, postcards or the love of postcards, will be deleted.

  1. Great postcard. I am in again this week after a few weeks off, and have picked up on the June theme, rather than "flip a coin" which I don't think I have anything to fit.
