Flowers and an Irish Pipe - Pink Saturday

This is the only card in my collection, celebrating St. Patrick's Day, in which one can find PINK flowers!  This charming card was given to me by my darling Gramma Gladys, who turned 84 last month.  I'm so honored to have her old cards--I love each and every one of them.

The card was printed in the USA, probably in the late 1960's.  I rather like the style.

Happy Pink Saturday to all.  For more wonderful things in pink, visit Beverly at  How Sweet The Sound

  3. I once found a card at a flea market that bore the signature of one of my grade school classmates! I bought it, of course. I don't exactly have a collection of vintage cards, but I do have 3 vintage cards that I have put in frames and display them each Christmas.
pink and green together, my summer flower colors!
BTW, I'm glad to hear the explanation of your blog title. Love it!

  5. How pretty! And I loved your St Patricks Day card from the last post as well! Such cute "clipart" created before "clip art" really existed. :) I've added both to my St Patricks Day party blog post round-up. Happy Pink Saturday. :)

  7. Hello Beth! It has been a while since we have written! I have been thinking of you so much lately. I do hope all is well on yonder side of the hills. Has spring begun to burst forth yet there?
I believe there is more greenery on the pages of your blog than than what is showing here on the rolling hills of the Palouse! :) Wishing you a bright and beautiful day!
