Be Still My Heart - Postcard Friendship Friday #46


I've never seen a sad Valentine's Day postcard before, but this one is exactly that--though there is a glimmer of hope held within that poem.  I have to admit to experiencing a broken heart several times in my youth--this is exactly how a person would feel.  The truth is, the sun does still shine above stormy clouds--and though I remember the feelings of heartache I once knew, I do not feel the awful pain today.  For that I am grateful!

    While the card is sad it is beautiful and oh so true .
    I am so thankful to be beyond a broken heart.
    Living in a military community it seems we are often surrounded by broken hearts.

    Our cards looks as if they could have been by the same artist! Yours is so sweet even though sad -and I am sure the little lady did survive one of the most difficult things a person can go through. Nothing as intense as young love nor as devastating as breaking up. Happy PFF!
