This Valentine was made in the USA in the early 1930's. The card is folded so only the girl with her Valentine are showing. When you unfold the card, the boy and his dog are revealed. I love the girl's bloomers--and laughed at the look on her face... I'm not sure about the look on that poor boy's face. Not to mention the dog! They both don't look too thrilled. (grin)

Ack! I think maybe he was in the doghouse HIDING from the prissy little girl!!! What a darling card!
ReplyDeletePerfect for Guest Heart Thursday!
It follows the theme - and I'm not certain either what the reception is going to be given her facial expression and body language.
ReplyDeleteI love fun cards like this!!!
ReplyDeleteI actually remember sending and receiving this kind!!!
Looks like some of the cards I got in the early 40's when in grade school, around 1943, second grade. Loved Valentine cards back then. And some of the boxed us kids made, I wish we would have saved at least one of them. But that was a looong time ago.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool Valentine's Card... cute kids! Happy Heart Thursday!
