I found this wonderful postcard at Tattered Gold. There's something about the way the flowers are layered across the picture and the rapt way she is enjoying the scent of that bloom which captures my eyes.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful Fourth, nice you and Clytie could be together. My sister went out of town for the 4th so I had no family to be with...thankful for my hubby though.
To have the love and companionship of family is a treasured gift. I always wanted to have a large , extended family but in my case it just wasn't meant to be. I always admire you Beth for the closeness you and your family have. I guess it has been two years now that your Dad had his horrible wreck? I think it was around July 4th ?? Hope he is doing much much better and your Mom too. THANKING YOU FOR BEING SUCH A AWESOME FRIEND .
