Here is another of Grammie's cards. She must have loved it so to keep it in her collection--it is all spotted and stained. I can see why she liked it so much--those little fawns are so sweet.
When Clytie and I were walking in forests surrounding The Abandoned last time around--Sissy actually saw one of these delicate little creatures. Today's card is in honor of that magical moment.
This is adorable, and it's so nice that you can attach it to a great time as well.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a charming card...what a sweet keepsake.
ReplyDeleteI like the little card. Glad you had a safe trip this last time. Also glad you and your sister were able to spend some time together before you went on this last trip. I plan on going to my Mother's tomorrow to spend the day. Granddaughter will be going along and also our one daughter that just recently retired. So I'm hoping we have a nice time.
ReplyDeleteAh sissie, those little fawns look so much like the one that bounded away from me - I've never seen a deer so tiny ... and quick!
ReplyDeleteFawns are so magical looking - tender and fragile.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite sets of pictures were those I took one day at a nearby Nature Reserve when I cam across a doe and her fawns. I was able to observe them for over an hour.
Really magical!
