Fawns and Bluebirds

Here is another of Grammie's cards.  She must have loved it so to keep it in her collection--it is all spotted and stained.  I can see why she liked it so much--those little fawns are so sweet.

When Clytie and I were walking in forests surrounding The Abandoned last time around--Sissy actually saw one of these delicate little creatures.  Today's card is in honor of that magical moment.

  3. I like the little card. Glad you had a safe trip this last time. Also glad you and your sister were able to spend some time together before you went on this last trip. I plan on going to my Mother's tomorrow to spend the day. Granddaughter will be going along and also our one daughter that just recently retired. So I'm hoping we have a nice time.

  4. Ah sissie, those little fawns look so much like the one that bounded away from me - I've never seen a deer so tiny ... and quick!

  5. Fawns are so magical looking - tender and fragile.
One of my favourite sets of pictures were those I took one day at a nearby Nature Reserve when I cam across a doe and her fawns. I was able to observe them for over an hour.
    Really magical!
