This postcard from my "cyber" collection, printed in 1942 seemed perfect for today. We were sopped with rains and high winds all last night and this morning. The rain came down so hard it woke me in the night. They say there may be more downpours and possible thunderstorms later on! Woohoo!
This postcard came from Deb's personal collection. You can read about the fascinating history of this wonderful postcard here.
Very apt card for us too. It feels muggy and rain and possible thunder is in the air...Loves those little rosie cheeks!

We have had a couple of those big downpours here lately. The only thing I hate is the lightning!
ReplyDeleteYep, woke me up at 4 AM with pounding pouring rain blowing in the wind against the window. Perfect card for today, sissie!
ReplyDeleteHi, Beth! How nice for you to visit my blog! So much fun to find comments. I am going to post an old postcard on your PFF but will do it from my other blog that has all my old pictures on it. I found some really old ones that have postcard backs and will start sharing those. :-) Carol
