I love this postcard. I happened upon your site by accident and I fell it love with it. I too, have always been a fan of old postcards, letters, and photos. Any time I'm out of town, I always find an antique store and look for these items to add to my collection. I am excited about all the postcard blogs out there that I never knew existed. So far, yours is my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
Don't forget the garter. Dressed like that, I can't imagine that she's having trouble garnering attention on the bus or subway.

ReplyDeleteShe really is very Betty Boopish isn't she? Maybe with all of the gray in her hair, she is an older version? Very cute card!
ReplyDeleteI thought of Betty Boop as soon as I saw her! Love those bows on her toes.
ReplyDeleteI love this era of work. There's something about it that just captures the imagination.
