I think it also goes to Veterans, according to what part of their web site states:
Today over 1.4 million men and women serve in the U.S. armed forces and over 24 million veterans have served in the past. The holiday season is the perfect time to honor and extend a warm holiday greeting to those who’ve served and continue to do so.Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16106461789118388241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186296632191602837.post-29297234452589390832009-11-17T21:05:28.166-08:002009-11-17T21:05:28.166-08:00sweet and gentle, cherished memoriessweet and gentle, cherished memoriesJANNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02036465250225794718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186296632191602837.post-5428612173008461142009-11-17T13:02:12.339-08:002009-11-17T13:02:12.339-08:00What a wonderful legacy she left to you! What a wonderful legacy she left to you!Loishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10737705457021667861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186296632191602837.post-17468959183568938602009-11-17T12:36:18.965-08:002009-11-17T12:36:18.965-08:00It would be a terrible world without Grandmothers....It would be a terrible world without Grandmothers.Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16106461789118388241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186296632191602837.post-65398613114243496892009-11-17T12:14:43.310-08:002009-11-17T12:14:43.310-08:00Hello Beth Niquette
I hope you are well.
This is...Hello Beth Niquette

I hope you are well.

This is such a sweet picture, takes me right back to childhood. I used to attract stray cats and one one occasion looked after some kittens who had been abandonned by the Mother, she took the stronger ones behind. She would come back on her own looking for food so I fed her. I took care of the weak ones. One day I put one on my head, two on my shoulders & the other on my lap. I loved their company.
One day the Mother returned to the garden with her other kittens they were all bigger than the ones I had cared for. It was a wonderful experience to see all kittens re-united again.
Thank you for reminding me of those days.
Take care
Isabelle xSuzy's Vintage Attichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15355297827117557882noreply@blogger.com
